Andrea Bednarova concentrates her practice in first and third party property insurance coverage and bad faith litigation defense. She has extensive experience in the interpretation of property insurance policies and has rendered coverage advice in insurance claims involving large property losses in California and other states. She has also successfully prosecuted subrogation matters in the areas of product liability and construction defects.

Education
Ms. Bednarova earned her B.A. degree in Political Economy of Industrial Societies, with highest honors, from the University of California, Berkeley in 2003 and her J.D. degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2006, where she received the Witkin and American Jurisprudence awards for her coursework in Roles and Ethics in Practice.  While in law school, Ms. Bednarova acted as a senior articles editor for the Hastings Women’s Law Journal, participated in the Street Law Program and the Civil Justice Mediation Clinic, and also clerked for the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office in the Environmental and Consumer Protection Division.

Bar Admissions
Ms. Bednarova is authorized to practice law in California and in the United States District Courts for the Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California.
