Robert T. Boylan
A partner in the firm, Robert T. Boylan concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, construction litigation, products liability and professional liability. ¬†He has extensive experience representing clients in breach of contract and tort matters arising out of construction projects and other commercial transactions. ¬†He also has experience representing professionals, product manufacturers, suppliers, and property owners in breach of contract, property damage, products liability and personal injury actions.
Mr. Boylan has handled cases in federal and state courts throughout the country. ¬†In addition, he has negotiated and drafted contracts on behalf of his clients for construction and other projects and transactions.
Mr. Boylan’s¬†trial experience includes the trial of matters in the state and federal courts of Illinois, California, Texas, Iowa, and Ohio.¬† Mr. Boylan has also represented design professionals, construction professionals, and other clients in arbitration proceedings.
Mr. Boylan earned his B.A. degree in Economics and History from the University of Michigan in 1992 and his J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law in 1995.
Mr. Boylan is authorized to practice law in Illinois and in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern District of Wisconsin, and District of Colorado.¬† He has also represented clients in matters pending in state and federal courts in Arizona, California, Indiana, Iowa, New York, Ohio, Texas, and Wisconsin.
Mr. Boylan is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
