Brian E. Devilling concentrates his practice in first-party property insurance disputes, general civil defense litigation, and commercial litigation. Mr. Devilling has tried cases around the country on matters involving medical malpractice, medical devices, insurance coverage, employment, product liability, and construction. He has handled matters in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, North Carolina, Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, Texas, Montana, Washington, California, Minnesota, Alabama, and Louisiana.Mr. Devilling served as an Adjunct Professor of Advocacy and a head coach for trial teams at Loyola University Chicago School of Law from 2003 to 2010. While in law school, Mr. Devilling was a National Champion at the 2000 William Daniel National Mock Trial Competition and Midwest Regional Champion at the 2000 Association of Trial Lawyers of America Student Trial Advocacy Competition. He has written articles and treatises on topics ranging from evidence to non-competition agreements to alternative dispute resolution, and has served as an instructor at multiple seminars on trial practice.
Education
Mr. Devilling earned his B.A. degree in Political Science and English from the University of Michigan in 1999 and his J.D. degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2002.

Mr. Devilling is authorized to practice law in Illinois and in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois, Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and the District of Colorado.
