CONSTRUCTION LITIGATION ATTORNEY – Chicago, IL
We have anÂ immediate opening for an Associate Attorney with at least 2-4 years of construction insurance litigation experience to join our Chicago office.
The ideal candidate will have overall litigation case management experience, including drafting motions, handling discovery requests, taking depositions, and experience in court proceedings.Â Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills required.Â Qualified candidates will also have excellent presentation skills, be able to successfully develop and maintain strong relationships with the firmâ€™s existing client base, and be genuinely interested in actively marketing the Firm to new and potential clients through frequent and direct contact.

LEGAL SECRETARY – Emeryville, CA
We have anÂ immediate opening for a Legal Secretary with at least 5 years of litigation experience in our Emeryville location.
Major responsibilities include transcription and revision of correspondence and legal documents, preparation of court documents for filing including Table of Contents and Table of Authorities, calendar maintenance, and case file organization. Additional responsibilities include coordination of attorney travel, submission of attorney expenses, deposition scheduling, client accommodation and routine clerical duties such as copying, faxing and mailing.
- Minimum 5 yearsâ€™ experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in insurance defense litigation, supporting 3-4 attorneys.
- Knowledge of filing procedures in State and Federal Court (including e-filing).
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Compulaw.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet strict deadlines.
- Must be extremely detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
- Qualified candidates must be dependable team players, capable of working with minimal supervision.
