Matthew P. FortinMatthew P. Fortin concentrates his practice in first-party property insurance disputes. His experience includes the preparation and litigation of catastrophe-related first-party property claims, unfair claim practices suits, builder’s risk claims, and appellate practice. Mr. Fortin’s expertise is in the interpretation and analysis of first-party property insurance policies. He brings a well-rounded insight and perspective to his current practice from having previously represented policyholders in first-party insurance disputes.

Education
Mr. Fortin earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Richmond in 2005 and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2008.

Bar Admissions
Mr. Fortin is authorized to practice law in Illinois, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeal.
