Kuiken concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice defense, first party property coverage, loss recovery/subrogation, products liability, breach of contract, breach of warranty, and construction litigation. He also has experience in the areas of automobile negligence, premises liability and insurance coverage litigation. Mr. Kuiken’s subrogation practice has involved large losses in a wide variety of settings including boilers and pressure vessels, electrical and mechanical failures, and construction negligence on a national basis.Over the course of his career, Mr. Kuiken has served as lead trial counsel in multiple negligence cases where he secured very favorable outcomes on behalf of his transportation and premises clients.
Prior to law school, Mr. Kuiken worked in television as a sportscaster for ABC and FOX affiliates in Tennessee and Louisiana. |
Education
Mr. Kuiken earned his B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2003 and his J.D. degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 2007.
