  A partner in the firm, Michael H. McColl concentrates his practice in the area of casualty defense with a special emphasis upon his role as national coordinating counsel for a Fortune 500 company with respect to all of its personal injury litigation. As such, he is actively involved as lead counsel in the high exposure cases for such company all around the country as well as monitoring the smaller cases nationwide. In addition to this work, Mr. McColl practices in the areas of medical and heath care malpractice, products liability, insurance property and liability coverage. Finally, he has considerable experience in subrogation. Over the course of his career, Mr. McColl has secured several favorable outcomes for his clients, both before trial and at trial. Given the nature of his practice, Mr. McColl averages a trial a year, thereby providing him with significant trial experience. He has successfully defended doctors, hospitals, manufacturers, companies and individuals in the recent past either obtaining a not guilty verdict at trial or securing a verdict for significantly less than the demand. |
Education
Mr. McColl earned his B.A. degree in History with a minor in Philosophy from Denison University in three years in 1991 and his J.D. degree from Northwestern University Law School in 1994.

Mr. McColl is authorized to practice law in Illinois and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He has also represented clients in matters pending in state and federal courts throughout the country.
