A partner in the firm, Tracey A. Jordan concentrates her practice on matters involving first-party property insurance coverage and litigation. Ms. Jordan is experienced in complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts throughout the United States.

Ms. Jordan has represented both primary and excess layers of coverage under all risk, builder’s risk and manuscript policy forms. She has successfully defended insurers on matters relating to not only major property damage and business interruption losses, but also bad faith and extra contractual claims. She also has experience with reinsurance markets and the relationship of those markets to the underlying claim presentation.   

Ms. Jordan has experience in all facets of litigation including discovery, motion practice, trial and alternative dispute resolution.  She has worked vigorously to obtain both favorable settlement and trial results on behalf of her clients.

Ms. Jordan has worked at law firms in both West Virginia and Pennsylvania defending insurance companies with regard to casualty claims including automobile accidents, medical malpractice, construction negligence and premises liability.

Education
Ms. Jordan earned her B.A. degree in Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs/Political Science from Miami University in 1989 and her J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1992.

Ms. Jordan is authorized to practice law in Illinois and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
