Overview
Janette represents London, Bermuda and domestic insurers and reinsurers in complex insurance coverage disputes concerning various types of claims, including general liability, environmental contamination, construction defect, product liability and toxic tort matters. She also has appellate, commercial and medical malpractice defense litigation experience. Janette works diligently to bring clarity to complex issues and to resolve matters favorably and efficiently for insurers.
Prior to joining Foran Glennon, Janette served insurance and litigation clients at boutique and large law firms.

Janette is a member of the Notre Dame Law Association and the Illinois Defense Counsel.
Community Leadership
Janette is a volunteer who teaches students about law, the work attorneys do and how students can use skills such as logic and word choice to be persuasive speakers and writers.
Honors & Recognitions
Janette received the Illinois State Bar Association’s Civics Education Award in 2022 for her volunteer work teaching students about the U.S. legal system.
Education
Janette earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1997 after completing her B.A., summa cum laude, in 1994 from Illinois Wesleyan University.

Janette is authorized to practice law in Illinois, Wisconsin, the United States Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois, the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, and the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
