Overview

Associate Jonathan Pai focuses his practice on casualty defense and is particularly skilled in construction defect, personal injury and healthcare-related cases. He provides exceptional service to his clients and leverages his comprehensive legal knowledge to offer strategic and tailored counsel.

Prior to joining Foran Glennon, Jonathan was an associate attorney at a statewide insurance defense law firm in the construction defect, healthcare and personal injury practice groups. Jonathan also worked as an associate attorney at a plaintiff’s firm and at several legal internships at various global law firms and a financial services firm. Jonathan also worked as a legal research assistant during law school.

Education

Jonathan received his LL.M from the University of California, Berkley, School of Law in 2020. He earned his J.D. from Peking University School of Transnational Law in 2019 after completing his B.S. in 2015 from the University of British Columbia.

Jonathan served as a junior editor for the Peking University Law Journal while in law school. As one of four Phillip C. Jessup Moot Court team members, he participated in the 2018 Jessup Moot Court competition.

While earning his LL.M at Berkeley School of Law, he was an editor for the Berkeley Business Law Journal and assisted in drafting an amicus brief to the Mauritius Supreme Court.

Jonathan is authorized to practice in California as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
