Overview
Patrick O’Neal concentrates his practice on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation.
Prior to joining Foran Glennon, Patrick practiced with a general civil litigation firm in Knoxville, where he gained experience in civil litigation and insurance defense with a focus on product liability, professional liability, errors and omissions and subrogation interest.
Professional Leadership
Patrick is a member of the Tennessee State Bar Association and the Knoxville Bar Association where he has previously served as co-chair of the Barristers’ Athletics Committee and chair of the Barristers’ Mock Trial Committee.
Community Leadership
Patrick is actively involved in his local Meals on Wheels program and volunteers as a soccer coach with Emerald Youth Foundation.

Since 2021, Patrick has been selected to The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch list for his practice in Insurance Law.

Education
Patrick graduated with his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2015 after earning his B.S. in environmental biology in 2013 at the University of Southern Mississippi.
While in law school, Patrick participated in Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, the Trial Advocacy Board, Honor Council, the Public Interest Law Foundation, the Dean’s Leadership Council and the Student Health Lawyers Association. He also served as a legal advocate for the American Civil Liberties Union during law school, providing pro bono legal research for indigent or incarcerated individuals.

Patrick is admitted to practice in Tennessee and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Tennessee.
