Overview
Associate Matthew Livingston concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy and corporate restructuring, with a focus on representing the firm’s insurance clients in Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings. He has significant experience with debtors, creditors, § 363 purchasers and DIP lenders in Chapter 11 cases. Matt also has experience with Chapter 15 litigation and sovereign restructurings.
Prior to joining Foran Glennon, Matt worked at a prominent New York firm where he primarily represented hospitality industry clients in Chapter 11 cases.
Education
Matt earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2015 after completing his B.A., magna cum laude, in 2011 from Dickinson College.
Admissions
Matt is authorized to practice in New York as well as the Southern District of New York.
