HR Generalist/Recruiting Specialist – Chicago

Foran Glennon Palandech Ponzi & Rudloff PC, an international firm with eleven offices, is a fast-paced insurance defense litigation law firm with an immediate hybrid opening in our Chicago office for an energetic HR Generalist with at least 3-5 years of experience.


Major responsibilities include full cycle talent acquisition through various channels, reviewing résumés, prescreening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks. Additional responsibilities include general participation with firmwide HR programs including benefits administration, compliance with federal, state, and local legislation, and ensuring the success of ongoing day-to-day operations.


  • Minimum 3-5 years of human resources generalist experience.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet strict deadlines.
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Dependable team player capable of working with minimal supervision.

In addition to base compensation, this position is eligible to participate in the firm’s benefit’s package which includes health, dental, vision, and pet insurance, 401(k) with discretionary profit-sharing, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and enrollment without any premiums in short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage.
