John Eggum and Brian Devilling Share Insights on How Adjusters Can Better Handle Litigation Challenges at Western Loss Association Fall Conference

John Eggum and Brian Devilling will discuss strategies that adjusters and experts can utilize to prevent, plan and prepare for litigation challenges at the upcoming Western Loss Association Fall Conference, in Delavan, Wisconsin on Thursday, October 10.

Douglas Stokes, Jr., CPCU, AIC, AIC-M, PCLS, from Erie Insurance Group and Perry Pinto, PE from DeSimone Consulting Engineers will also join the conversation.

The Western Loss Association is committed to securing greater efficiency in the adjustment of property losses through education and training. Each fall, the Association holds a conference for members to attend and present on current trends and topics related to the property insurance industry.

John concentrates his practice on insurance coverage disputes. He has represented insurance companies in a wide range of large loss property coverage litigation, addressing issues such as complex causation disputes, difficult business interruption claims and allegations of bad faith.

Brian concentrates his practice in first-party property insurance disputes, general civil defense litigation and commercial litigation. His first-party property practice is focused on appraisal, cyber/data breach, arson and fraud, builder’s risk and storm-related losses. He speaks on topics ranging from appraisal to arson and fraud investigation to accident investigation.
