Foran Glennon is pleased to announce that Kathleen DeLaney has been named the new managing partner of its San Francisco office. She replaces G. Edward Rudloff, Jr., who served in the role since the office opened in 2010 and will continue his insurance practice after stepping down.
“We are delighted to have Kathleen take on this role,” said Foran Glennon President Tom Orlando. “She is an incredibly intelligent and well-respected attorney who embodies our culture and values and has the talent and commitment to lead. We also extend our thanks to Ed Rudloff who has been instrumental in the success of the San Francisco office.”
Kathleen has been a partner at Foran Glennon for 10 years, and she was a partner at Rudloff Wood & Barrows LLP prior to its merger with Foran Glennon in 2010. She concentrates her practice on property insurance law and the defense of insurers in bad faith suits involving both personal and commercial policies. She also counsels clients in connection with the investigation and resolution of complex property and liability insurance claims.
She has been selected to the California Super Lawyers list every year since 2011, a designation given to only 5% of the total attorneys in each state.
Kathleen has been a member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Robert G. McGrath American Inn of Court.
The firm’s San Francisco office houses a team of attorneys who represent businesses, insurance companies, healthcare and governmental organizations, multinationals and individuals in a wide range of business matters.
