Overview

Altimease Lowe concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, first-party property insurance disputes and assists clients on cases related to loss recovery/subrogation. She is experienced at legal research as well as drafting pleadings, memorandums of law, client reports and affidavits.

Prior to joining Foran Glennon, Altimease was an associate at a Chicago-based law firm, where she represented insurance carriers and corporate clients in the areas of transportation, products liability, professional liability and medical liability. She also served as an assistant state’s attorney for the Cook County State Attorney’s Office, conducting trials and pre-trial motion hearings.

Professional Leadership

Altimease is a member of the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater Chicago, Illinois State Bar Association and National Bar Association.

Education

Altimease earned her J.D. from University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law in 2021 after completing her B.A. in Mass Communication from Georgia College & State University in 2018.

While in law school, she served as the symposium editor for The UA Little Rock Law Review and held numerous leadership roles within the Black Law Student Association – Bowen Chapter including chapter president. She was also the director of communications in the Southwest Region of the National Black Law Students Association.
