Overview
Anna Manalaysay’s litigation and arbitration practice includes representing both domestic and London market insurers, reinsurers and intermediaries in complex insurance coverage cases, involving multi-layer insurance programs. Her practice focuses on disputes arising under commercial general liability policies.
Anna’s practice includes the analysis of insurance and reinsurance coverage issues in various commercial and industrial sectors.
Anna represents insurers in state and federal courts nationwide through trial and appeals in issues involving additional insured coverage, advertising injury and other intellectual property claims, business torts, environmental pollution claims and bodily injury claims.
Anna likewise has experience working as in-house coverage counsel. In this role, she advised claims and legal teams on the nuances of New York Insurance law, risk management, claims handling, underwriting procedures and policy rewriting.

Anna is a member of the Asian American Bar Association of New York.
Honors & Recognitions
Anna achieved the 14th highest score (out of 6,533 examinees) in the 2008 Philippine bar exams and was consistently on the Dean’s list in law school.
Education
Anna earned her J.D. from Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 2008 after completing her B.A. at the school in 2004. She further honed her legal skillset by receiving a Master of Law degree from Columbia University in 2013.

With admission in both New York and the Philippines, Anna’s global perspective has proven to be invaluable. Anna is authorized to practice in New York state courts, the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, as well as in the United States District Courts of all districts in New York.
