Overview

Brendan Wengler focuses his practice on general litigation, supporting clients through each stage of the litigation process and addressing complex claims. Before becoming an associate, Brendan was a summer associate at the firm, working alongside attorneys and clients to build a strong foundation for his litigation practice.

Prior to joining Foran Glennon, Brendan served as a law clerk at a personal injury law firm in Chicago. He assisted with every facet of pre-trial litigation, including drafting pleadings and discovery responses, analyzing depositions and conducting legal research.

Education

Brendan earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2025 after completing his B.A. in 2021 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Brendan’s law school experience centered around advocacy. He received a CALI award for achieving the top score in the university’s “Mirza Trial Academy” course. Brendan was selected to participate on the university’s Moot Court Board, where he competed in several external moot court competitions. Brendan advanced to the octo-finals at the 2025 Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition hosted in New York City. In addition, he co-authored a brief which was awarded “Best Brief” at the 2024 ALA Moot Court Competition in Chicago, a competition where Brendan finished as a quarterfinalist.
