Overview
Jared Weiner focuses his practice on commercial litigation matters. He is adept at navigating complex commercial disputes, with experience conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and supporting negotiations in high-stakes matters. He also brings hands-on experience counseling clients in intellectual property disputes, including enforcement, contract interpretation and licensing.
Prior to joining Foran Glennon, Jared worked with boutique entertainment law firms in New York, where he advised clients on intellectual property and contract issues in both litigation and transactional matters. His background includes drafting and negotiating agreements, analyzing licensing and distribution deals and helping clients navigate rights-management issues.

Jared volunteers annually with the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center.
Education
Jared earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2023, where he earned a certificate in Intellectual Property, Media and Information Law. He completed his B.S. in Music Industry, with a minor in Entrepreneurship, in 2017 from Towson University.
While in law school, he served as a legal intern for various firms and companies in both the entertainment and corporate industries, completing complex legal research and drafting documents such as cease-and-desist letters, takedown notices and formation of corporate entities. Jared was also a member of the Intellectual Property Law Association and the Brooklyn Entertainment & Sports Law Society and contributed to the Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment Law Blog and its podcast.
