Foran Glennon Palandech Ponzi & Rudloff PC, an international firm with ten offices, is a fast-paced insurance defense litigation law firm seeking a full-time, experienced In-house Recruiting Specialist/Program Coordinator to join our Chicago-based team in a newly created hybrid role.
POSITION SUMMARY
The successful candidate will collaborate with Firm stakeholders to determine current and future hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions. They will be responsible for full cycle talent acquisition of attorneys, paralegals, legal administrative assistants and clerks through various channels including utilization of recruitment tools and platforms as well as cold calling to reach prospective candidates. Once candidates are identified, they will review résumés, conduct initial screenings, schedule interviews between attorneys and candidates, secure professional references, conduct background checks via third-party vendor, maintain candidate tracking and implement employee referral programs.
This position will also have oversight of the Firm’s Summer Associate Program which includes all of the aforementioned recruiting initiatives as well as attendance at law school career fairs, assignment coordination among all offices, event planning and internal educational opportunities, program evaluation, and all other contact throughout the school year such as part-time work.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience as an In-House Recruiter, preferably in a law firm.
- In-depth knowledge of full cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques.
- Hands on experience with drafting and posting jobs on social media and job boards.
- Experience with Sourcing and Recruitment tracking tools.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable team player capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of all multi-state recruiting/hiring related regulations/laws.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet strict deadlines.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
Compensation package including bonus ranges up to $75,000 annually and will be based upon level of experience.
