Doug Palandech shared insights on risk management for design professionals at the Large Loss Convocation hosted by Willis Towers Watson.
As part of the panel discussion, Doug explored insurance and risk management solutions for architects and engineers involved in construction and design projects. He covered issues such as standard of care, plan adoption, estoppel, consequential loss or damage and incompatible results from dispute resolution venues.
Doug was joined by several co-panelists, including Dan Buelow of Willis Towers Watson and Andy Mendelsohn of Berkley Design Professional.
Doug concentrates his litigation practice on construction, design professional and legal liability, products liability and first-party property cases.
This was Doug’s fifth consecutive year presenting at the convocation hosted annually by Willis Towers Watson in Chicago. Attendees included clients of Willis Towers Watson in the architect and engineer community.
