Foran Glennon is excited to announce the addition of associate Kyle Gretel to the firm’s Tampa office.
Kyle concentrates his practice on insurance coverage matters, with a focus on complex first-party property coverage disputes. He represents both domestic and international insurers and excess insurers, developing tailored strategies to resolve matters through appraisal, mediation, arbitration and litigation, as appropriate. Kyle also supports insurers during claims investigations by providing coverage analysis and conducting EUOs. He serves as a go-to contact for insurers looking to avoid unnecessary expense and evaluate exposure.
He has significant experience advising insurers on complex, high-exposure matters. His work includes assisting a group of domestic and international insurers in connection with a crane impact to an insured building where claimed losses exceeded $100 million and representing a market of insurers in a matter involving alleged losses of more than $45 million to a commercial on-land fish farming facility. Additionally, Kyle helped insurers achieve successful resolution of a claim arising from the alleged collapse of portions of an insured building in Miami, Florida, following Miami’s Surfside Condominium collapse.
Prior to joining Foran Glennon, Kyle served as an associate attorney in Tampa at an Am Law 200 firm, focusing on first-party property insurance disputes and litigation arising from catastrophe, collapse, earth movement and plumbing losses, as well as matters involving trigger of coverage, excess coverage and reinsurance issues.
Kyle earned his J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law and his M.B.A. from Stetson University, both in 2018 after completing his B.S., cum laude, in 2013 at Florida State University.
Since 2001, Foran Glennon has represented clients across the globe, offering sophisticated legal services in a cost-effective manner.
