John Eggum to Address Complex Causation Issues at PLRB Claims Conference

John Eggum will share insights on complex causation issues in disputed property claims at the Property & Liability Resource Bureau (PLRB) 2020 Claims Conference and Insurance Services Expo at the Gaylord National Hotel in Washington, DC March 8-11, 2020.

John’s presentation, which will be co-presented by Lisa Seutter, CPCU, Chief Examiner from Liberty Mutual Insurance, will cover how to analyze policy provisions addressing causation and trends in how courts have interpreted these provisions. They will also evaluate complex causation issues, problems of proof that can impact outcomes in disputed claims and explain how to identify causation-related coverage determinations.

The PLRB Claims Conference will include 100 educational course selections within 14 tracks taught by industry leaders meant to prepare claims professionals for their future by challenging their thinking and redefining what it means to be a claims professional today.
