Litigation Paralegal – Tampa, FL

Foran Glennon Palandech Ponzi & Rudloff PC, a fast-paced insurance litigation law firm, seeks a Paralegal with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in insurance-related matters.

Responsibilities include assisting with all aspects of litigation, including fact and expert discovery. Experience with initial drafting of disclosures, discovery requests, discovery responses, document productions, privilege logs, subpoenas, and deposition notices is required. Responsibilities also include document reviews, organizing case files, litigation and attorney calendaring, electronic discovery and document management, deposition prep, coordination of exhibits and binders, and assisting with trial and mediation preparation. Prior trial experience is desired, which includes drafting and maintaining witness and exhibit lists, jury instructions, notebooks, witness management and scheduling, trial subpoenas, and coordinating with trial vendors and courts. Paralegal may be expected to attend trials. Limited travel may be required.

Qualifications: A Paralegal certificate is preferred but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and experience with Relativity, Adobe, and Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis is required. Candidates must be extremely detail-oriented, have excellent internet research and organizational skills, and be dependable team players with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Compensation is based upon level of experience up to a maximum of $80,000 annually. In addition to base compensation, this position is eligible to participate in the firm’s benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance, 401(k) with discretionary profit-sharing, Employee Assistance Program, and enrollment without any premiums in the firm’s short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage policies.
