Foran Glennon shareholders Peter Billis and George Pilja will join the Onshore Energy Conference (OEC) 2025 meeting on Tuesday, November 4 in London, England. They will co-present a session titled “From Start (Coverage) to Finish (Subrogation): Keeping Insurer Obligations Within Policy Parameters and Maximizing Recovery Prospects in Power Plant Equipment Failures.”
In this session, they will share how equipment failures at insured power plants can lead to complex coverage and subrogation issues, particularly when goods or services warranties and capacity penalty claims are involved. They will:
- analyze the evolution of these issues in recent years,
- discuss their impact on coverage and recovery for insured losses and
- offer practical guidance on strategies for resolving disputes related to manufacturer and service provider warranties and performance penalties.
