Overview

Rose Njugu concentrates her practice on civil litigation and insurance coverage defense. She represents businesses and insurers in complex disputes involving multi-million dollar exposures, providing strategic counsel informed by years of experience in both public and private legal settings in the United States and Kenya.

Rose assists clients throughout all stages of litigation, including case intake and investigation and discovery motion practice, as well as supporting hearings, depositions, and trial preparation. Her work includes managing large document productions, addressing privilege issues, and preparing coverage opinions in matters involving significant financial exposure.

Prior to joining Foran Glennon, Rose’s U.S. based experience included practicing at a business immigration law firm, where she advised clients on non-immigrant visa matters, as well as at a civil litigation, real estate, and business law firm. She also honed her extensive civil litigation experience through her contract work at a first-party property insurance defense law firm and a global law firm in San Francisco. Her experience includes handling all phases of pretrial litigation, counseling clients in preparation for visa interviews and hearings, drafting and responding to motions and pleadings, preparing discovery documents, and representing clients in hearings and depositions related to real property title disputes.

Rose began her U.S. legal career supporting insurance coverage defense and litigation matters at Foran Glennon as a post-graduate Legal Assistant/Law Clerk and has remained closely involved in complex civil litigation throughout her professional practice.
