Overview
Caryn Schiffman focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage defense matters. She represents insurance carriers, TPAs and self-insured clients through all aspects of litigation, dispositive motions, conducting depositions, managing written discovery and providing comprehensive status reports. Caryn has experience in drafting appellate briefs, participating in arbitration hearings and supporting oral arguments before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Supreme Court of Nevada.
Prior to joining the firm, she handled legal matters encompassing business and real estate disputes, personal injury cases, real estate-centric business law and litigation involving the Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act. During her time as a law clerk at the Eighth Judicial District Court in Las Vegas, Caryn oversaw motion calendars, conducted legal research and managed tasks for the court’s civil law department.

Education
Caryn earned her J.D. from California Western School of Law in 2002 after completing her B.A. in History and Women’s Studies in 1996 from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
