Overview
Dawn Brehony concentrates her practice in first-party property and liability insurance coverage matters. She represents insurance companies nationwide in coverage and bad faith litigation involving a multitude of insurance policies, including first-party property, commercial general liability, builders’ risk and homeowners’ policies. Dawn also provides strategic advice to insurers and reinsurers on complex coverage matters to minimize risks and exposure.
Education
Dawn earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice from Radford University in 1997 and her J.D. degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 2000.
While in law school, Dawn was on the Senior Board of the Moot Court Honor Society and the Secretary of the Women’s Law Association.
Admissions
Dawn is admitted to practice in New York and in the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern and Western Districts of New York.
