Overview
Hamna Syed concentrates her practice in commercial litigation, with extensive experience working with clients on all phases of litigation, from initial intake and liability evaluation through discovery, mediation, settlement, and trial, as well as experience with multi-million-dollar verdicts and medical malpractice matters. Her background in plaintiff-side matters provides her clients with an inside understanding of how opposing counsel approaches complex matters. Her practice is well-rounded, utilizing innovative strategies to reach positive outcomes for her clients.
Prior to joining Foran Glennon, Hamna gained substantial litigation experience at prominent personal injury and civil litigation firms throughout California, where she supported hundreds of clients and managed discovery, demands and settlement, mediations, and deposition and trial preparation across dozens of active matters.

Hamna is a member of the Santa Clara Bar Association.
Education
Hamna earned her J.D. from University of California College of the Law, San Francisco in 2025 after completing her B.A. in Sociology in 2020 from University of California, Los Angeles.
While in law school, Hamna served as Senior Staff Editor of the UC Law Business Journal.
