Overview
Leah Lewis focuses her practice in civil litigation. She helps clients manage multi-million dollar insurance and liability disputes related to a variety of issues, including healthcare, transportation, personal injury and contract breaches. Clients turn to her for complex litigation strategy that synthesizes her extensive knowledge of legal precedent and medical research with information gathered from a wide range of experts, such as biomechanical engineers and car accident reconstructionists.
Prior to joining Foran Glennon, Leah worked at two Illinois-based firms, where she played a key role in all facets of insurance and liability litigation, including discovery management, pre-trial motions and trials.
Professional Leadership
Leah is a member of the Illinois Defense Counsel as well as the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and the American Bar Association.
Education
Leah earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 2020 after receiving her B.A. in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University in 2017.
While in law school, she was Social Chair for DePaul’s Women’s Bar Association, a research staffer for the Business and Commercial Law Journal and a Phi Alpha Delta member. She also served as a legal extern to the Cook County Public Defender.

Leah is authorized to practice in Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
