Foran Glennon announces the opening of its latest office in Tampa, Florida, marking the expansion of the firm’s footprint into the Southeast region of the United States and expanding its national platform. This 11th global location underscores the firm’s commitment to serving the needs of a growing worldwide client base and staying true to the founding principle of client service excellence in insurance coverage, defense and subrogation matters.
The Tampa office, located at 2002 North Lois Avenue, Suite 505, Tampa, Florida 33607, will be rooted by two new shareholders, Sean Ravenel and Melissa Stephenson. Combined, the two bring nearly four decades of insurance and subrogation experience to the firm.

Sean represents corporate and private clients on subrogation and recovery matters in all fifty states. He manages cases from the date of loss through trial and appeal.

In private practice, Melissa represents Florida insurance carriers in first party defense, coverage and bad faith matters. In addition, Melissa has over a decade of in-house claims experience, managing litigation nationwide for complex disputes in areas such as excess general liability, directors and officers, fiduciary, cyber and property lines. Her experience for multiple carriers and over multiple lines of coverage, make her uniquely positioned to understand the needs of carrier clients and claims professionals.
