John Eggum to Share Insights on Catastrophic Timing Disputes at the 2025 PICG Conference

Foran Glennon shareholder John Eggum will join Lloyd’s Market Association’s Property Insurance Claims Group (PICG) 2025 Conference to co-present a session titled “Catastrophic Timing Disputes in the U.S.” on Wednesday, May 7 at Kings Place in London.

In this session, John will join co-presenters Olivia Bradley and Henry Densham to provide key insights on catastrophic timing disputes in the U.S. insurance industry. This includes issues such as coverage disputes, the duty to investigate, bad faith claims and other key factors in insurance litigation.

John litigates property insurance claims (including builder’s risk and energy claims) around the country, including in lawsuits where bad faith and claim handling disputes are at issue. He is a frequent speaker at insurance industry events, including on topics of appraisal, causation and claim handling practices. He’s been recognized by various organizations for his work and leadership in the legal and insurance industries, including by The American Lawyer, which named him a Midwest Trailblazer, the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Lawyers, the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and Chicago Lawyer, Super Lawyers and Leading Lawyers. 

PICG is a Lloyd’s Market Association Claims Committee that provides a forum for discussing common issues and concerns within the property market in London and across the world.
