Peter Billis will discuss the investigation process behind large fire losses at the Complex Commercial Fire Investigation continuing education seminar hosted by Foran Glennon and Envista Forensics in Foxborough, MA on October 9, 2019.
Designed for insurance professionals, adjusters, brokers and attorneys, the seminar will address the technical and legal views of those involved in complex commercial fire investigations and how to properly investigate, from the inception of loss, in order to manage the carrier’s expectations and mitigate losses.
As part of the presentation, Peter will explore best practices to maximize subrogation potential, including critical considerations for an initial inspection, balancing competing interests, issuing a formal notice to potentially liable parties and preserving evidence in a manner that will avoid spoliation claims.
The seminar will also feature George Hannigan, Sr. Principal Consultant at Fire Explosion, Lars Daniel, Practice Leader at Envista Forensics and Paul Mullin, Digital Manager at Envista Forensics.
