Thomas Orlando Recognized on Crain’s Chicago Business 2021 Notable Gen X Leaders in Accounting, Consulting and Law List

Foran Glennon shareholder Thomas Orlando was recently selected by Crain’s Chicago Business for inclusion on its 2021 list of Notable Gen X Leaders in Accounting, Consulting and Law.

Tom was recognized for his contributions to the Chicago legal community, including his role as president of Foran Glennon. His strong leadership experience has helped guide the firm through challenging times, specifically the COVID-19 pandemic and the abrupt transition to remote work.

Committed to maintaining a “one-firm” mentality, Tom considers regional differences while working with attorneys throughout the firm’s nine offices to ensure that clients receive a consistent standard of service excellence.

Crain’s also recognized Tom for his dedication to actively mentoring attorneys throughout the firm, serving as a dynamic resource for new associates and shareholders alike. He continues to be innovative in his outreach and consistently encourages firm leaders to be creative in their mentorship efforts.

In addition to his role at Foran Glennon, Tom was also acknowledged for his leadership in the Chicago community and beyond. He currently serves on the Grant Park Music Festival Board of Directors, as governing member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, as chair of the board of Stile Nu and on the alumni advisory board of the Miami University John E. Dolibois European Center. He previously was a member of the International Music Foundation (formerly Rush Hour Concerts) and served as its chair for five years.
