Foran Glennon announces the addition of partner Daniel Tyler and associates Katie Aumiller, Krystal Carvajal and Daniel Maher to the firm.
Based in Chicago, Daniel Tyler focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage matters. He manages cases involving insurance defense, insurance and indemnity litigation, professional negligence and malpractice, toxic torts, breach of contract, real estate matters, director and officer disputes, construction disputes, business divorce and associated employment issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Daniel worked as an associate in prominent law firms in Boston and Chicago, representing clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. He earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2013 and his B.A. from Colgate University in 2004.
Katie Aumiller is also based in Chicago with a practice focused on property insurance. Katie gained experience in civil, criminal and employment law in the Supreme Court of Maryland as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Lynne A. Battaglia, a judicial intern for the Honorable Dan Friedman of the Appellate Court of Maryland and as a law clerk for an employment agency. She was also a summer associate for a trial and appellate boutique firm in Washington, D.C.
She earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2022 after receiving her B.A. from Miami University in 2019.
Krystal Carvajal, based in New York, concentrates her practice on general litigation and brings valuable experience with matters concerning public contracts law, labor law and premises liability. Prior to joining the firm, Krystal was an associate at a business law firm in New Jersey. She earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School in 2021 and her B.A. from Monmouth University in 2016.
Based in Chicago, Daniel Maher’s practice focuses on general litigation, with an emphasis on medical malpractice defense. Prior to joining the firm, Daniel served as a judicial extern for Judges Kathy M. Flanagan and James N. O’Hara in the Cook County Law Division. Additionally, he worked as a summer associate at Foran Glennon and served as a law clerk for various firms across Chicago. He received his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2023 and his B.S. from Villanova University in 2017.
