Foran Glennon is excited to welcome associates Brian Hallett, Lauren Schulze, Caroline Tabisz, and Brendan Wengler to the firm’s Chicago office.
Concentrating his practice on insurance coverage, Brian guides insurers through the claims and litigation process, handling liability exclusions, and BIPA matters and defending policyholders in various civil actions. He is skillful in drafting motions, conducting depositions, and has represented clients in multiple state and federal courts. Prior to joining the firm, Brian worked for a boutique Chicago insurance firm, focusing on coverage and defense matters, and previously served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Lauren utilizes a background in civil litigation and estate planning matters to support clients in her general litigation practice. She approaches each case with precision and a client-focused perspective, delivering strategic advocacy that protects her clients’ interests. Prior to joining Foran Glennon, Lauren served as a legal intern and extern at firms in California and Illinois, drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and assisting in developing case strategy in both federal and state courts.
Caroline concentrates her practice on general litigation with a focus on subrogation matters. With familiarity in both criminal and civil litigation, and her experience as a Foran Glennon summer associate, Caroline offers clients practical, well-rounded counsel. Prior to joining the firm, Caroline served as a law clerk for the Illinois Attorney General.
In his general litigation practice, Brendan supports clients through all phases of the process. Brendan previously gained experience through Foran Glennon’s summer associate program and as a law clerk at a Chicago personal injury law firm, gaining considered knowledge in every facet of pre-trial litigation, including drafting pleadings and discovery responses, analyzing depositions, and conducting legal research, building a strong foundation for his practice.
